The Traditional Holiday Sing-in

Today was our traditional holiday Sing-in.
Each grade level prepared a holiday song to share with the whole school.
It's a lot of fun and the students really enjoyed it!

This year, Mrs. Seamons prepared songs for the whole school to participate in singing together.

Her husband, Mr. Seamons, was kind enough to come and play piano for us.
How fortunate we are to have such talented people willing to help us!

Here's what each grade level performed:

Kindergarten
 "Must Be Santa"

First Grade
"All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth"

Second Grade
"Mele Kalikimaka"

Third Grade
"Little St. Nick" by the Beach Boys

Fourth Grade
"I'm Gettin' Nuttin' for Christmas"

Fifth Grade
"Santa Claus Rock"

Sixth Grade
"Silver Bells" (with sign language)

Mrs. Hirz and Miss Herring's Classes
"Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"

For the finale, Mrs. Seamons led everyone in the "12 days of Christmas".  Each grade level and group had a "day" to act out.  It was so much fun!  Let's hope this continues in years to come!

After the song, Mr. Cox read us a poem and reminded us that Christmas is about giving.  It was a very fitting ending to such a great activity!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, AVIATORS!!!!
