First Lady, Jeanette Herbert, Visits Amelia Earhart

We were so fortunate to have a special visitor come to our school on January 17th.

The First Lady of Utah, Jeanette Herbert!

She was so kind to come and talk to our students about the importance of reading. She shared many experiences and example of why reading is such an important skill to have. It's not only an important skill, but it's really fun too!  She also had a question and answer session and the students really enjoyed it.  After, she read a story to the students (with voices and everything!)

Thank you Mrs. Herbert!
We really enjoyed getting to know you.

Golden Apple Awarded

Congratulations Mrs. Clark!

Mrs. Becky Clark was nominated by her class and community members to receive the
PTA's Golden Apple Award for excellence in teaching.

Today, during her math lesson, Mr. Cox and Mrs. Mercer surprised Mrs. Clark and made the presentation of the award.
Mrs. Clark was very surprised! :)
We are so fortunate to have wonderful teachers who care and who work so hard for our students like Mrs. Clark.
 Thank you Mrs. Clark!
Congratulations for receiving this well-deserved award!
